Monteith Ranch Holdings, LLC (“Monteith Ranch,” “we,” or “us”) runs this website, monteithranch.com. This page explains what the site and the services it uses collect, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the inquiry forms it links to on app.monteithranch.com.

What the Site Collects

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (G-CRYT453JZ9) to see how people use the site. It records the pages you view, which of our forms you open, your approximate location (worked out from your IP address), and your device and browser. It uses cookies to recognize repeat visits. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. To turn it off, install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser.

Fathom Analytics

We also use Fathom for simple page counts, including how often our phone number and email links are clicked. Fathom doesn’t use cookies.

How You First Found Us

The site remembers in your own browser how you first found it, such as a search, an ad or a post, so the ranch knows which ads and posts work. It goes along with an inquiry form or an email signup you send us, and we don’t share it.

Fonts

The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts and Fontshare. To send them, those services receive your IP address and browser details.

The Map on Our Contact Page

Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.

Email Updates

If you sign up for email updates in the site footer, we collect your email address and which updates you want: hunt openings, beef availability, or both. We store them in Ranch OS, our ranch management system, and send the emails through Resend. Every email has a link to change what you get or unsubscribe. To stop abuse, the signup keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for about 2 days.

Inquiry Forms

The Plan a Hunt, Reserve your beef, and Plan an Event buttons open forms on app.monteithranch.com. Each asks for your name, email, and phone, plus what you’re asking about:

• Hunts: what you’d like to hunt, how many hunters and guests, and your dates
• Beef: half calf or whole calf, which cross, and whether you’ve bought bulk beef before
• Events: the kind of event, how many people, your dates, whether anyone stays overnight, and your company or group

You can also add a message and tell us how you heard about us. We store your inquiry in Ranch OS and email it to our team through Resend, and we use it only to answer your inquiry. The forms also have “Keep me posted” boxes. If you leave them checked, we add your email to our updates, and you can unsubscribe any time.

Our Web Host

Like any website, ours runs on a web host that records standard details of each request (IP address, browser, and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Who We Share It With

Only the services named above: Google (Analytics, Maps, and Fonts), Fathom, Fontshare, Resend, Ranch OS (hosted on Supabase), and our web host. We don’t sell your information. We share it with law enforcement only when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep inquiries and email sign-ups in Ranch OS for as long as we need them to run the ranch and meet tax and legal requirements. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep your address on a do-not-email list so it stays that way.

Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use Google’s opt-out add-on, and unsubscribe from our emails at any time. You can also ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us by email or phone.

Children

Our services aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll post the updated version here and update the date above.
