Information We Collect

When you contact us, book a hunt, order beef, or attend an event, we collect:

• Name, email, phone number, mailing address
• Inquiry details (hunting interests, group size, preferred dates, beef order quantities, event guest counts)
• Payment information for deposits and final balances
• Signed contracts and liability waivers

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider Cloudflare automatically records server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and sets cookies for security and bot prevention. We don't use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking on the marketing site. The booking system at app.monteithranch.com uses session cookies necessary for login and authentication.

How We Use It

• Manage bookings, beef orders, events, and guest communication
• Process payments through our payment processor
• Send transactional email (booking confirmations, cut sheet requests, pickup-ready notices, processing updates)
• Send marketing email if you've subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email)
• Use photos and testimonials shared with consent in our marketing materials; you can opt out at any time by contacting us
• Meet legal requirements including liability documentation and tax reporting

Who We Share It With

We work with these named service providers:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery
• Supabase — secure database hosting for bookings and customer records
• Cloudflare — website hosting and security

We don't sell your information. We don't share it for advertising. We share it with law enforcement only when legally required.

How Long We Keep It

We retain customer records (bookings, contracts, waivers, beef orders) for at least seven years for tax and legal purposes. Marketing email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time; your email is removed from active mailing lists upon unsubscribe and deleted from our database within thirty days.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of marketing emails at any time. Contact us by email or phone.

Children

Our services aren't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
