Whitetail Deer Hunting

Native whitetail near Salado, at the edge of the Texas Hill Country. Bow and rifle seasons, with blinds set for a mature buck.

The Herd

Native deer, managed for age.

Whitetail are native to the property, and we manage the herd for health and age. Rotational grazing and selective clearing build the browse, and numbers are kept in balance so bucks get older and does stay healthy.

That management shows up in the field. You hunt mature deer on ground that sees light pressure, from blinds set where the sign is. Bow or rifle, your call.
